DAVE EMARY
Dave Emary is the Chief Scientist for Hornady Manufacturing. He has been a Innovation leader in the shooting sports industry for 20 years and has been awarded the prestigious “Outdoor Like Top 25” award for Innovation. A brief listing of his accomplishments includes the development of the 17 HMR, 204 Ruger. LEVERevolution and FTX bullet line, Critical Defense and recently Superformance ammunition lines. He is also an accomplished shooter, having been an active High Power Service rifle shooter and Presidents 100 as well as winning international military sniper competitions. He has served as a sniper instructor for both the Nebraska National Guard and the Nebraska State Highway Patrol. Dave brings both a technical and practical hands on background that can’t be found anywhere else.
